Scope: This Privacy Policy applies to the BeatWatch mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”) on iOS.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Health Data
- Heart Rate: Measured via built-in sensors (e.g., Apple Watch) or camera-based methods, or read from HealthKit.
- Other Metrics: Such as steps and activity duration (only if those features are enabled).
All data is stored locally on your device; no data is uploaded or synced to any server.

1.2 Device & Usage Data
- Device model, iOS version, etc.
- App usage logs: crash reports and performance metrics for local diagnostics and optimization, stored locally only.

2. How We Use Your Data
- Reference & Display: We visualize your heart rate trends to help you understand your condition and improve your quality of life.
- No Medical Advice: All metrics in this App are for reference only and do not constitute medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice.

3. Local Storage & No Sharing
- Local Storage: All collected and generated data reside in the App sandbox on your device.
- No Upload, No Sharing: We do not transmit any personal health or device data to servers, nor do we share it with third parties, advertisers, or partners.

4. Permissions
4.1 HealthKit Access
Required to read heart rate and other health metrics for core functionality. You may revoke this in Settings → Privacy; revoking will disable related features.
4.2 Camera/Microphone
Used only for camera-based heart rate detection mode. Optional; disabling will prevent use of that mode.
4.3 Local Notifications
Used to remind you to review reports or reach goals. Optional; disabling will only stop notifications.

5. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general adult users and is not directed at children under 13. Should we inadvertently collect data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

6. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with a new “Effective Date.” Please review this page regularly.
